The alpha is the first of several releases of Project 2008, our accurate recreation of F-Stop (actually named Aperture).

We have fully restored and fixed the recently leaked code of Aperture (on the Alien Swarm branch), while also combining it with the recently leaked F-Stop assets from the Portal 2 leaks, essentially giving us a fully accurate build of F-Stop, just with the maps missing.

This alpha release is our base for mappers. While we are also making a fully accurate campaign recreation as well as a workshop launcher, they are not yet included in this build, and will be coming at a later date.

This build runs standalone with no required installation. All required game content is included in the build.

This website is a placeholder and will be revamped in the future alongside the release of our campaign.

KNOWN ISSUE: If the game doesn't launch: make sure Steam is running, make sure you're running P2008_Run_Game.bat instead of p2008.exe, try adding Alien Swarm to your Steam.
